The aesthetic of this place is so calming and so at home with one's self, that after 1 visit I was in love! Great food. I recommend trying their paninis!!

Had a great experience here! My wife and I loved the decor and atmosphere and most importantly the food! My wife said their potato salad was the best she ever tasted! Definitely will go back again! 😁

Super delicious and everyone was so nice. We went for a lunch and had the she-crab soup and gumbo along with Reuben and tuna melt. Absolutely delicious! Prices were reasonable. I loved how quaint the place was with its antique decor and dog friendly patio. It's a cozy, small place. It had an inviting backyard garden dining area but it was too cold to sit there when we visited. We will do it next month. It is tucked away so parking is tough.

What a gem! Recommended to me by a friend, I am so grateful to have gone and experienced this great little restaurant. The garden area is beautiful and the sense of freshness is all around you. The food was lovely- I had the Greek salad and the turkey panini. Both were excellent. I am looking forward to going back sometime to enjoy the outdoor seating and a glass of wine with my meal.

This place was great! The garden seating, service and food were all exceptional! I had the Cuban and it was really good, everyone loved what they ordered. The outside seating is in a garden setting and mostly shady, even though it was in the 80's it was really comfortable outside. The staff were all a very friendly! Highly recommend!

We visited while on vacation and loved it! I wish we had found this place earlier so we could gone more! The food was great and it is such a funky eclectic place! They had indoor seating and outdoor seating. We sat outdoor and had fun looking at everything. Our server was amazing with making sure we were comfortable and our grumpy preteen son was enjoying himself. He loved the outdoor swing and setting. Give this place a try, you won't be disappointed!!

The Pickled Palate is a high end, fair-priced sandwich shop nearby The Boulevard. The menu is eclectic with all things made on site from scratch. Sandwiches and wraps are especially tasty. I’ve not tried the salads yet, but they look good. Desserts are mostly cakes and pie variety and all deliciously home made! Service is down home Southern!

Have had now 4 or 5 meals here, and across the menu everything has been delicious. It's an attractive quaint restaurant set in an old house, with the "shed" or old workshop finished nicely into a general store type setup with a desert case. The setup for ordering is a little untraditional and takes a minute to figure out. Essentially counter service to order in the foyer with a large chalkboard for the normal menu and a small chalkboard for daily specials. They have flavored water and black teas and an interesting selection of wines, beers and juice/teas in a case to select from. There's a small indoor seating area, and the back yard is a large garden with tables along the path. The ladies working offer table service, and are always wonderful. It's definitely a little gem of Mount Pleasant.

Delicious food, adorable property with surprisingly a lot of outdoor seating. Desserts and local products like preserves and honey are available in the "blue room" out back.

One of Mount Pleasant’s few real gems. High quality food, incredibly friendly staff, nice community feel. Shame on the city government for their YEARS long construction disaster on Coleman and for cutting down the trees in the back of this establishment.

Coming from NJ, I Stayed in Charleston for a few days and was out exploring the area. Came across this gem in Mt. Pleasant. Best panini and potato salad I have ever had. Everything was fresh, the staff was very friendly and the old school Southern style of this place really brings it altogether. Will highly recommend this place to anyone who is staying near there or passing through.

Cute little place that's very eclectic with adorable patio and deck seating. We ordered the chicken salad and tuna salad sandwiches and they were both delicious! Also ordered the potato salad which appears mayonnaise based with fresh dill, which I had never experienced but it was great! Everyone was friendly and it was a great experience.

Such a quaint and fun lunch place right in the middle of a busy area. Feels like a garden escape! The turkey panini and ham panini are both fabulous. Very reasonable prices. The staff was kind and respectfully wearing masks. I would recommend when you dine here to wear closed toe shoes. There are lots of little biting ants in the mulch under the tables. Enjoy!

This is a cute little place to get sandwiches. It is definitely a unique setting with plenty of outside space that dogs are welcome at. The food is good; the only place for improvement I can think of is beverages. They have some glass bottled sodas, unsweetened tea, wine, and beer. The tea just wasn't for us and the soda wouldn't last through lunch. The employees are super nice! We will definitely be back.

My husband and I were there yesterday. Just at the beach for a couple days and we read that this place was good. We both loved our lunch! Such a neat little place, we might even go back before we leave. Would definitely recommend!

This has to be one of the coolest spots I visited while in Mt. Pleasant. The ladies working their were all polite and helpful, the food was delicious and I really like their outdoor seating area. It felt like I was eating at someone's home. I can't recommend this place enough.

Amazing atmosphere! Seriously the cutest place we’ve eaten at in Charleston area and maybe anywhere for that matter.Sandwich options and fun a varied and I tried 3 and liked them all. Just an awesome time, highly recommend. As a restaurant owner myself I can see the care that is put into this place. Service was excellent
